Daily Spanish Comes to The Learning Tree — Minot's Bilingual Pre-K

We're thrilled to share a first for The Learning Tree — and one of the only programs of its kind in Minot, ND: every day, a dedicated Spanish teacher now spends a full hour in each of our four oldest, pre-K classrooms, giving our preschoolers a real, hands-on introduction to a second language.

How our daily Spanish program works

This isn't a once-a-week activity or a video on a screen. A real Spanish teacher visits each of our four pre-K rooms for a full hour, every single day. Children learn through conversation, songs, games, colors, counting, and everyday words — the playful, hands-on way young kids pick up language best. Over a school year, that daily hour adds up to a genuine head start.

Why a daily bilingual start matters

Young children are natural language sponges, and the preschool years are the easiest time in a person's life to absorb a second language. Consistent, daily exposure — not just an occasional taste — is what builds real listening skills, focus, and confidence.
